Nutella Cookies

One of Mike's co-workers got a new job recently, and his last day of work was this week. He's always raved about the Nutella cookies I've sent in with Mike so I figured I'd make them for his last day. Aliya made them just last week, and they're just so yummy. They're nice and chewy in the middle with crisp edges from the sugar coating

Hazelnut Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup Nutella
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
9 oz semi sweet or white chocolate chips
turbinado sugar

Preheat oven to 375'F

Cream butter, vanilla, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and Nutella. Add flour, salt, and baking soda slowly. Stir in chips. Using a Tbsp., form balls of dough then roll in turbinado sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool on pan for 1-2 minutes then remove to cooling rack.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies
